Well I am about 4 months after a break up and Im on Lexapro and I see a counselor. For the first 2 months it was really bad. So if you feel like you need help go for it. I suggest trying to stay sober alright buddy? You can pm me if you need some advice.

After 5 years it happened to me, too.
I didn’t have a full, single meal for about 2 weeks.
Started focusing more on myself... worked out really hard, stayed active, ran every night with music, connected with old friends...
The big life changer was downloading tinder.
Started seeing a lot of people and befriending some.
Eventually matched with an Au Pair from Germany and she introduced me to an entire harem of European women.
Changed my life forever.
Traveled the world and even met my current wife after forging this one friendship.

Give something like this a try, I say.

Sound really shitty dude...this is my first time drinking during the break up...not ganna be a regular thing. Been broken up for a month and I don't drink a lot. I may begin to go to bars a bit more to try and meet a few people or something...just kind of socially

So you met your wife/friend on tinder?
Tbh I met my gf through tinder as well as friends sort of. I knew about her and connected through tinder so idk if that's such a bright idea atm for me anyways. Glad everything is working out now for you and you must be a ton fitter than you used to be ..lean up and bulk out?. Either way dude. Congratulations on the life you've gained. As well thank you for your words.
I guess I should just try going out some more.

Try to immerse yourself into something else, like a game with intense/awarding storyline

Time will heal a lot.., hang in there

One of the girls I met on tinder introduced me to my current wife.
Oh yeah. Getting healthier and feeling better in my own body changed a lot, too.
I kind of lost touch with myself after being with the ex for so long, and being the age that I was. Still wasn’t sure of who I was exactly, because I always just had her to depend on kind of.
I suggest NOT playing any games for a while.
Run, bike, go to the gym, read about positivity, play and write music if you can, etc.
Work on yourself and have some girls to mess around with in a little bit.

I tried my hardest to make a man friend, failed, started hitting on fat girls to get my self esteem back, currently failing.
