No oil change every 3000 with conventional and I'd only run it 5k to 10k Max synthetic..
That's miles btw
Unless were talking 15/40 in a truck. That shit lasts forever. Most ppl change that every 15k to 20k miles

Oil service tech for 2 years so I know what I'm talking about.

Yeah was talking km.

1km = 1.6m

Confirmed euro haha, when i went with nokian in suomi to test their new tire on ice circuit some of those guy told me they were changing oil n filter every 50k km and it was the norm

Its not the case in america tho

Bullshit. Here in Finland most people change oil every 10-20k kms. On newer cars even long life programs are rarely recommended or used as oils get bad due to big differences in temperature (from -35 to +35 c).

Enthusiasts change oils every 5-10k kms or once a year when the usual guy on his Corolla usually every 15-20k kms.

Edit: and on-topic: 2 weeks is nothing and doesnt matter at all. Change the oil when it best fits your schedule.

Do not wait 5-10k miles to change oil.

I don’t care what anyone with “2years of experience says”

Jesus so much inaccuracy here. Different brands have different life. Different manufacturers have different time frames. My Volkswagen is once a year or 10k miles. I drive a lot and I drive a little rough so I do it every 7ish. Conventional oil is normally about 3. But consult the manufacturer of the car company or brand of oil and get their recommendations. dont trust random people.

My answer was because of random idiot's with no automotive experience trying to give bad advice on oil longevity. I'm well aware of his initial question.
