No offense but this build is very very far from the best lite sorc build. In terms of survivability, it's completely fine, but the damage with nova is super weak: For comparison:

YOUR BUILD
(I'm increasing inventory to a maximum of 9 Lightning GC's for the purpose of a damage comparison and assuming all items with perfect stats)
Level 41 Nova / Lightning Mastery (+530%) / +5% Lightning Damage from Gear / -80 Enemy Lightning Resist from Gear / -85 Enemy Lightning Resist from Conviction / 8 Frame Nova
Vs Hell Baal (50 Lightning Resistance) Damage = (2085 + 2709) / 2 / 6.3 x 6.35 x 2 / 8 = 604 Damage per Frame with Nova
Vs. Breakable Immune (100 Lightning Resistance) Damage = (2085 + 2709) / 2 / 6.3 x 6.35 x 0.97 / 8 = 293 Damage per Frame with Nova

Vs Hell Baal (50 Lightning Resistance) Damage = (6 + 49464) / 2 / 6.9 x 7.6 x 1.95 / 12 = 4427 Damage per Frame with Lightning
Vs. Breakable Immune (100 Lightning Resistance) Damage = (6 + 49464) / 2 / 6.9 x 7.6 x 0.77 / 12 = 1748 Damage per Frame with Lightning

You can see that the damage isn't remotely close. Depending on the map, nova may be able to hit slightly more targets than a lightning volley - but certainly not 6-7 times more. Your build gets a slightly more effective -20% ELR vs. broken immunes, but the base damage difference is insurmountable.

Also, just for the sake of being thorough - consider Eth Sandstorm Treks vs. Waterwalks (For the record, I don't think waterwalks are necessarily best in slot but it will serve to make a good comparison).
Eth Treks will give us +15 Strength (converted into BO-able life) and +15 Vitality (30 non-BO-able life), +143 Armor (I'm going to disregard the Poison Res and FHR).
However, if we use Waterwalks, the build's highest strength requirement will be the Lidless Wall (58 Strength) on switch - so based on that fact alone, you will gain +23 Strength (converted into BO-able life) on top of the +65 Life (BO-able) and +5 Max Fire Resistance.
Conclusion: Eth Treks are unfortunately one of the worst boot choices for this build. Best in slot is almost certainly a pair of GG dual-res mana boots with a low strength requirement or tri-res rares.
