Can someone explain how Tormund and the watch are still alive? Did the Night King and his army not go past the wall after they tore it down? Why would they spare all of those people. And then in the trailer for next episode it shows Tormund made it all the way back to Jon. Again... how is that possible? The Night King's army should be between the wall and Winterfell at this point, so how would Tormund and the watch get back to Winterfell without encountering the army of the dead?

Does Bran even still care that he got pushed out a window?

I thought the same thing. They do show the army walking at a snails pace though. So maybe the army does travel very slowly. But over thebpast couple of seasonsnthe travel has been prettt ridiculous.

They clearly talked about horses, the Crows that they encountered said they have horses and if they double up on them that will allow them to beat the army of the dead back to Winterfell...

Incase you haven't noticed, the army of the dead moves REALLY fucking slow rofl.

Tormund and his crew move in different directions than the army does. Neither of them made a direct line to Winterfell.

Also, like I said it's the fact that they have horses (as the crows said)....which move a hell of a lot faster than the dead army.

The Wall to Winterfell is like 630 miles roughly. A horse is going to ride at say 30 MPH that's 21 hours worth of travel time. So assuming they stopped and rested, they'd get back within 2 days easy.

Meanwhile, the dead army was walking at a slower than usual pace. The average human walks at 3 MPH, but it's safe to say those guys move even slower. Even so, assuming they're moving at a 3 MPH pace that means it'll take them over 8 days to reach Winterfell.

Nothing seems that secretive. She's going to wait for both armies to fight and then march on the winner

Based on this, I expect Ep2 to be a relative let down. It's gonna be another one of those "calm before the storm" bits where they drag everything out and cliffhang it going into 3
