Happens to me more than I'd care to admit. Just switch it up, try and find a story that really interests you and you'll get hooked. Or try watching TV/Movies for a bit then come back to it.

its not that at all imo
i feel the same shit hell i had no internet for a month and i started playing horizon which seems like a good game but i just stopped playing it for no reason (2nd time now i got further this time at least)
then i went and played champions of norrath for like 3 days straight whenever i was gaming never got that feeling it was the same when i beat baldurs gate 1 but BG 2 was crap and i had that feeling


i noticed something about games i really liked as a kid they were short but quality games you wanted to play again and again now companies try to drag a game out to get "play time" or make it seem like more then it is and its a dragged out 1x play through
if it was the whole being burned out because i older how can i play old ps2 games and enjoy myself more then playing these new aaa titles? they are just missing something

play something like the last of us. Its a short game with a story that drags you in form the first moments imo.

I also stopped playing horizon, witcher 3, god of wars, skyrim, rdr2 - i played all games for like 20 hours. then everything in those game gets repetitive as fuck. And boring. And to easy.

So i need games which are challenging and short (like re2) or long and hard (like my dick or DS3). Or just games with an awesome story and good gameplay like the last of us.

I’ve played horizon, Witcher 3, god of war, and rdr2 and none of those got repetitive, especially if you stick to the main story which it sounds like you would want to do

The first 3 also have difficulty settings so why are you complaining about them being easy

It's going to boil down to personal preference. Far Cry 5 is a good game (first Far Cry I've played). Unfortunately after I finished off John I tried to do Hopes part of the region. Then I tried the other brothers region. It's the same game to me and I got really bored. I think my problem lies more in the length of these games.

I own Re2 but haven't played more than 20 minutes. Maybe I'l give that a try if it's short.

well witcher 3 was fantastic to watch (my gf played it through and i just watched, we switched with gwent matches). Its really an epic quality game, dont get me wrong. Gwent is the fucking shit. But when i played it myself i just stopped, dont know why. the gameplay feels repetitive for its length for me. The other games just were boring for me after 20 hours, i dont know exactly why.



give it a try - its only maybe 4 hours if you play slow and easy. if you play fast you could make it in 2:30 in the first playthrough, if you play on normal difficulty
