I thought it was alright.

Not Iron Man or GotG good but definitely better than Thor 1-2 and Ant Man 1.

I'll rate it as average as far as Marvel movies go.
I am, however, left interested in how the dialogue between Captain Marvel and the rest of the Avengers will go. Could be an interesting dynamic.


You know who the bad guys are in the first 5 minutes of the movie if you've payed attention to any of the Avenger movies...
They also used an amnesia plot device to steer 80% of the movie.
The parts about the movie that were above average are definitely not the story or structure. These bring it back down to average.

you know who the bad guys are if you know the comics. but this is an origin story. so yeah they told a good story about how this character came to be and what drove her to become who she is now. am i missing something?

Very boring

Average movie that fit the formula. Acting was fine though, bland script.

Definitely a tier or two above iron man 3 and thor 2

Also Jude law is fucking ageless

Saw it last night. I found it fairly enjoyable. It wasn't perfect, obviously... Fairly generic, but the visuals were great and I really liked how sly and smirky Brie was as the character.

There were a few stupid moments but overall it was fun.

I've also ignored all the politics around the movie, so there's that as well.
