Make more mules so you can transfer your gear by using the Marketplace.
Use Marketplace to buy upgrades at 1 fg or slightly more.
100 Base Vitality / Rest to Strength (using Swords / Clubs / Axes)
Clubs are cheap, but not usable when you pass to Samurai, Swords are slightly more, but usable from Barb to Paladin.

Use regen gear when sitting in town when low on life.
Do not let your hit points go below 50% if you can help it.
Slugsliders & Gigabee will be your main issue if you can not deal a lot of damage.

So, basically go with Enhanced Effect Weapon / Armor (for defense) & Stat charm on main slot.
White TierIII sword vs white TierIV sword. The TierIV basically deals 20% more damage than TierIII.
TierIII sword 40% enhanced effect vs white TierIV sword. TierIII sword (40% ee) basically deals 20% more damage than the white TierIV

Its just that the rules are very clear on this matter. You are only allowed one account so you should try doing account recovery.

He should definitely try account recovery because older accounts are much more useful. If he can't get his account back however then I don't see what would be wrong with making another account after many years.

There doesn't seem to be much from keeping people from make multi accounts however if someone has a main account and invests lots of time on their multi, they are a fool.




In hardcore go barbarian. Get at least 100 vitality. Go Powershot until 40% and put the rest of the points into retribution (the barbarian ability). Both skills are single target and they will help you kill monsters in the higher levels.

For a first timer, they could use /set easy 0 to have 1-3 normal & evil presence spawn.
And I agree with you... especially with low level to mid (level 45+) and/or whistling, later on
you get hit more often than your attack action... at higher levels, retribution pays off.

So, either Fighter or Barb is appropriate, they can both use Powerstrike & Retribution.
Mind you, if you are using high enhanced effect armor which shows more 0's than hits,
then you are correct, don't use retribution. But, since he is starting from scratch and
0 forum gold, retribution is a definite ability to use.
