How much should insurance be for a 19 yr old in New York without being on their parents?

Can’t tell you for sure, but like everyone else said that seems too high. I could be wrong, but I’d recommend calling an agent directly and getting a few quotes over the phone or in person.

Known insurance companies too. Like geico. Statefarm. Allstate. Etc

U told us ur age. Car. And location. NY is a bit more pricey to LIVE in. But i doubt insurance rates are that inflated.
Ur car is a family sedan. So its not a sports car or sports coupe or super car. So it really shouldnt cost that much.
