With 10 FCR this ring would have been amazing...



I wanted to explore the superchests in all the acts. There are plenty in act 1 monastery-type areas (crypt, maus, tower) as well as outside some houses in the wilderness. Act 2 has a bunch in the arcane sanctuary and maggot lair (and occasionally in the Lost City). Act 3 has the LK, upper Kurast, and bazaar superchests. Act 4 has 2 superchests in the RoF. And Act 5 has the sparkly chests in the outdoor areas (which I think are really just super chests). Here is one PUL drop from Act 1 superchest. I have never seen this pattern in an LK superchests. Can anyone confirm?



Those other chests are fun, but not really efficient. LK chests are still the best bang for your buck. I rolled this very good map and got a LEM.

By chance I also rolled both of the RoF superchests close to the waypoint. Actually my main goal was to get these 2. The two campfires in LK were a bonus. The RoF chests can drop up to CHAM. Here I am demonstrating some random patterns with no runes.



And I got the frigid highlands chest to spawn close to the waypoint as well. This can drop up to zod. Here is a demo random pattern.

VEX rune out of a log! First HR in a very long time. I was reading an old thread about how poppables actually give you more runes than superchests. Can anyone confirm?

One thing i I was wondernig.. How can ~50 DR ~50 MDR be so good? Doesn't enemies do like 500 damage?

50 DR or 50% DR?
if it's 50 DR, it doesn't really make any difference in certain areas on Hell difficulty
on the other hand, 50% DR is huge



DR is better than %DR just in some scenarios like Normal difficulty areas.
Example:
If Quill Rat deals 5 damage, and you have 3DR, that damage is now 2
If Quill Rat deals 5 damage, and you have 50% dr, that damage is 2.5


DR was used instead DR% in some pvp matches as well, like against Assassin.
Trap Assassin relies on constant use of Mind Blast which in PvP deals Physical damage, and is therefore reduced by DR.
Since Mind Blast's damage output is so low, after some calculations, players realized DR helps much more in this matchup than DR%

DR is also better in case of damage over time, like Diablo’s red lightning or vipers at Nila.
