hey guys

i got massive fps drops in blackout regardless of what graphic settings i'm running. it's jumping anywhere from 20 to 120 fps all the time. multiplayer seems to be working just fine.
im running a lenovo y530 gaming laptop. here are the specs:

ProcessorIntel Core i5-8300H

Graphics adapterNVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti (Notebook) - 4096 MB, GDDR5, 23.20.16.4973

Memory 8192 MB, DDR4-2666

any advice how i could fix it apart from buying a new laptop?

cheers

Memory 8192 Gb
1050 Ti

Thats the issue. Game is optimized like shit.
For comparison, I have: 16GB 3000Mhz, 8600k, 1080Ti and I still get frame drops @ 2560*1440

Also, turn anti aliasing off completely and it should fix a lot of stuff.

if i set graphics to the lowest possible, which is when the game looks like a 20 year old one, the same fps drops are coming in. i run pubg in relatively high settings without any problems and thats a bigger map with the same number of people. dont tell me its running poorly because im on a laptop mate

Try to put your battery management on "High Performance", you got to lower some graphics setting like shadows, motion blur, and etc.

I have Y520 with nvidia 1050 ti too and no lag but 16gb RAM. So it's either not enough RAM which is very likely since it's recommended 12GB or it's your CPU is getting too hot that it throttles. I also have M.2 NVME SSD/HDD setup but that won't be the problem.
