try throwing laptop in the trash and building a pc like a real man

Literally played everything on a laptop till this year (needed to upgrade due to streaming issues) and never. EVER had an issue.. that's such a lame reason.

hey guys

i got massive fps drops in blackout regardless of what graphic settings i'm running. it's jumping anywhere from 20 to 120 fps all the time. multiplayer seems to be working just fine.
im running a lenovo y530 gaming laptop. here are the specs:

ProcessorIntel Core i5-8300H

Graphics adapterNVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti (Notebook) - 4096 MB, GDDR5, 23.20.16.4973

Memory 8192 MB, DDR4-2666

any advice how i could fix it apart from buying a new laptop?

cheers

If you end up having to get a new computer, iBuyPower actually has some pretty good deals if you don't wanna build yourself. Yes it's more for labor etc but at least you're getting a TESTED and working computer.

Never had an issue, til I had an issue, etc

Laptops can manage stuff these days, but running a mobile i5 with 8g ram, and experience fps drops when the machine is about to melt...

Well thats like complaining about the water being wet

Get a new pc
