At least they are making it. Kavanaugh's documents that they are hiding are from the Bush admin. There is going to be so nasty nasty dirt that comes out on him. Will help with impeaching his corrupt ass.

So the Democrats, that already dont want to vote for kavanaugh... are stalling the process... for documents... that will... make the same people not want to vote for kavanaugh even more?

Apparently the GOP was hesitant to release the Bush admin documents because they thought it would make for a tougher confirmation. I wonder what's in there to make them think that.

I say release 'em. It's most likely a nothingburger or something that will go away after a few newscycles, and they will have the votes to confirm regardless.

Not releasing them just opens up the chances of impeachment when Democrats take Congress at some point during Kavanaugh's term. They have the confirmation votes regardless, so I don't understand their hesitancy to be transparent.

Who knows what it is. It's probably a nothingburger. But there is probably some reason McConnell has been hesitant to release them for. If it was baseball tickets, we'd have already seen the 60k+ extra documents.

I'm fine with the GOP not releasing them. They are going to ram this guy through regardless. If they don't want a fully transparent process that risks their pick being susceptible to impeachment in the future, so be it.

No, the Dems want to release any and every document on Kavanaugh that was every written. Including his 1st grade report cards probably.
Arguing about those 100's of thousands of documents, is just another stall tactic.

Kavanaugh is in, make no mistake. The Dems ONLY move at present is to stall it as long as possible.

From the article I linked earlier in this topic...

The Senate is likely to vote on confirmation by the end of September. The court begins its next term in October.

This is what it's all about. Whether or not Kavanaugh gets the confirmation vote before the end of September.

Does Ghot think Merrick Garland should have got a hearing/vote? Curious.
