Most of the folks in the US are 35 and over. Older people don't like mob rule, bad behavior, etc.
The Dems base is probably embarrassed with their congressmen's behavior, but really have nowhere else to turn, if they choose to stay with the party.

The Governor of Arizona just appointed a replacement for McCain. An dhe seems to have bipartisan support. So the senate will be back to 51-49. They can vote Kavanaugh in today if they wanted.

All this rabble rousing, interruptions etc., being done by the Dems, is just making them look bad to the voters. Many of whom are already switching sides.

Can't wait for the majority of Susan Collins' female supporters (at least the left leaning ones that cross the aisle to vote for her) abandon her when she inevitably votes yes to confirm Kavanaugh.

I don't think her voting yes would hurt her all thst much in that regard.

I live in maine, there is a lot of pressure on her to oppose Kavanaugh (maybe not as much pressure on her as the healthcare vote, but still a lot) & there are a lot of liberal female voters who thoroughly supported her who will now never vote for her again once she votes to confirm Kavanaugh.

At least they are making it. Kavanaugh's documents that they are hiding are from the Bush admin. There is going to be so nasty nasty dirt that comes out on him. Will help with impeaching his corrupt ass.
