Redesign the tank, in the year 2019 there is plenty of methods building things that dont leak :d
Use some sort of gasket
Use correct torque and bolt in correct order.

Its rather hard giving correct advice when so little info on the tank is given...

surely, asking someone else that specializes in that type of field will be way more beneficial...

u come across as a total cheapskate... 200fg for an answer to a problem that will save me $xxxx a year...

given 99.9% of ppl in this subforum probably have no professional experience related to ur problem, that makes u more qualified to solve it, yet u cant. so basically if i'm to help u,

i ll have to invest x-xx amount of hours to do a research on what could potentially solve ur problem and in return u ll give me 200fg

not to mention that since u don't know a good fix, if i somehow make u think that X will fix ur problem but X costs $200 to accomplish, will u believe me (the online random guy) and invest $200 to fix ur problem?

what a clown, please find a better place to solve ur problem, for ur own sake.

Why would you ever build a water tank and not make it cylindrical? If too much pressure is the problem then solution is not a sealant but a new design. If you are building water tanks that need to withstand such pressures, you need to make them cylindrical.

They make better designed tanks then what your describing. Purchase them, yes they are more expensive but the cost savings over time as you claim makes it worth it. I am speaking as an engineer familiar with this subject area. IN addition you could change the seal design on the inside of the tank so that hte pressure when filled creates a sealing force in those areas.

Oh yeah

I worked for a place that worked with ag tanks
We used steel fittings in the plastic to put 90° elbows and stuff
But the molding on the tank was the issue

We ended up grinding down the inner plastic(going inside the tank)
To fix this and make it level

The sealant is instantly activated upon exposure to oxygen, as soon as you crack it open the chemical polymerization has already started. The only option you really have, if you want to continue using this methodology, is to use a glove box and inert gas to transfer the sealant into aliquots. You could use some cheap materials, there are a few decent glove box designs on shroomery dot org, if you use a tank, regulator, inlet/outlet (one-way pneumatic valves), and evacuate the chamber with nitrogen/argon/etc, you can transfer the sealant into syringes (like the big ass ones with long tips of sufficiently low gauge such that the application is not impeded), fill the syringes with a sufficient amount of sealant for a single job + 50% excess and cap them all under inert gas -> gtg.
