Bortles even cost or nearly cost Jacksonville multiple games this season. Let’s not even get into the last 3 years before this one. He was absolutely abysmal in those.
Bortles is not in the top 20 QBs in the league. He’s a game manager who turns the ball over too much to be a game manager and has good durability and mobility, that’s it. He would be an above average backup qb but he is nowhere near starting caliber. Not even close.
I think he's right around the #16-20 range. New England's "Dog shit" secondary was a top 5 defense in points allowed FYI. Our red zone defense was solid last year.
