Total: $653.53
Then you have 450$ for either a used 1080ti or a new nvidia turing card (announced in 6 days)
Then a few years down the road you could buy a better CPU cooler to overclock. So the system would be viable for longer time.

imo the best price per performance.

Thanks for the build!!

Only thing I don’t like here is the micro atx. I have no size restriction, so I’d prefer more airflow from a medium case. Also, I will not over clock. The pc that just crapped out on me had an unlocked cpu and compatible motherboard and I never even dabbled in it. Not something I care to do.

Any chance anyone can look at the parts in that ibuypower pc I linked above? Might just go the shit prebuilt route as I’m feelin impatient as fuck and I can put it on a Best Buy card with no interest. If anyone find something on Best Buy I can Buy that’s worth a damn?

Good option here. New cards will bottom out prices on buying new 10 series or resold 10 series cards.

Pre builts come with a 40% markup on cost. Micro atx is perfectly fine. Youre not overclocking or running multiple cards nor tons of hard drives.

I really do appreciate the feedback guys but I guess I’m going to have to change my question to you. Financially it makes sense for me to use my Best Buy card with no interest and pay this off in 3 months. (Or 12 if I choose to). I can either pick through their availability for parts, or just buy a prebuilt. These 3 models are in stock at my current store? Which would you choose of these and why?

They should.. but I’m not currently there to look. I live in Brandon Florida. Website shows availability, I’ll go look after work I guess.

Ghot don't know how to a keep a budget :D

The new Nvidia cards should be announced in 6 days. Should be a pretty significant leap in performance.
Maybe you can live with a HD620 for a bit?

Ghot also doesn't know how to pick parts. $140 250gb SSD and WD Black. :wallbash:

My list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/bBjbTB Could probably shave off some $ on the RAM or PSU if needed.

You won't need more than an 8400. Buying a Z370/8600k/8700k just for boost clocks is asinine. The stock cooler is fine for an 8400.
