Best epoch was before they released it. Hype was insane . Game was and is still trash.

Do you say the pre pre pre alpha? When had a skill tree like "wow" but for improve the skills? Yeah, the old d3 looks good too, but slow. The barbarian with maná, more than 6 skills in UI...... i remember this video, that diablo 3 was better than final release, but now the game is bored, all day in rifts/grifts (or the 90% of the time).

Diablo 2 doesn't have a endgame, level 99 not is a objective for all players, level 90-97 is enough for make a build, level 99 if you only want to have a "perfect" character or extra stats/ skill points.

Are you trying to get paragon 10000 in d3? Who want to get it? Bots or ill people xD. Diablo 3 doesn't have good endgame, grift fishing is boring too.

In d2 if you are bored doing pvm, you can do pvp for fun or trade, in d3 if you're bored, you leave the game.

Grind xp to level 99 in d2 is boring, i don't do it, i don't need it, if the character works good in p8, the character is finished for me. Every player has his own rules, mine are entertainment > chinofarming.


P.D: I never compared d2 with d3 (and not is just, there is 12 years of difference), only classic vs ros, and for me, classic was better.

P.D2: I respect all opinions, i like talk about diablo, too is entertainment xD
