The diablo 3 "trading" debate is hilarious.

I'm just trying to understand the other side. I mean, you agreed with me there so there isn't much to discuss. However, I am curious why you are a bit defensive when people do talk about trade. I mean, I am too.. but just curious

I just don't understand why so many people attack this specific mechanic so aggressively, you said it perfectly and I agree it's not ideal, and very much a let down to do many. I guess I'm just defensive in the sense of just not understanding why it's such a big deal to begin with. It's more confusion than anything. This section is filled with many that can't discuss to understand the other point of view, it's their opinion and they just run with it taking on any differed opinion head on aggressively.

If things weren't so aggressive around here, I wouldn't feel so defensive. This shouldn't be a touchy subject for anyone. Afterall it's just a game and has no real value to life in general.

They probably just do it cause you say it's trading but it's obviously a gimped version of it. I mean, you are right in a sense it's "technically" trading. I admit, I'm defensive about this position too, I don't know why. Just seems like D3 could be so much more, and why devs would make these decisions breaks my heart. That's where I'm coming from and I'm sure others might feel the same way but they are a bit more aggressive

D3 in relation to any game, has pros and cons. Every game out there could of been so much more. Just depends on the person. D3 should of sold this idea to another franchise and stuck to roots.
