I used to work in a restaurant and instead of throwing the food away at the end of the night I would put meals together in to-go containers. I would then drive around downtown San Antonio at about one in the morning looking for homeless people who had nothing to eat.

The restaurant didn't like it because apparently homeless people have sued before and won cases where they were given food after hours.

:/ people are people. I hate how much food we throw away in America. It's disgusting.

What homeless people can afford lawyers to sue for free food you gave them, do you say hey this food is from this restaurant? Smells like some bullshit to me.
