100000% this. Almost always humanity has been unprepared but they for ONCE had their shit together and were ready to fuck this thing up. Eren finally stopped acting like a whiny bitch, and this is what happens when you've got the whole of the scouts leadership and their trump card working together without hesitancy.

How could we expect them to possibly handle the Beast Titan or any of that fucking crew if they couldn't handle this madness driven weakling?

Reiss was baddie in the walls, now that humanity is united, it's time to turn against baddie out of the walls, Beast boy.


e: Going to be a huge plot hole though if the Beast titan and his crew were trying to destroy the wall and humanity. Attacking at the same time as Rod would have made shit SUPPPPPER easy for them and there's no way they didn't know about it.

It got really bad after the first season

reiss was the baddie because he had the opportunity/power to get rid of the titans but he chose not to because he wanted to reap in the benefits by using his family to carry on the history?
