This game can be easily beaten with gear acquired while you were in normal act 1, or even completely naked on certain classes/builds (I've personally done a naked playthrough)

Diablo 2 is not a difficult game by any means. In fact as far a RPGs go this may be one of the easiest out there.

If prices were indeed much higher at the start of ladder, I might very well consider playing HC.

but its more about the game play, contrary to what some think, it happens that you have to quit the game with only 40HP left, that's a hell of a rush on HC

even the bots complain about how boring SC PVM can be.

Well it's a good thing I actually had a naked character I was doing another naked playthrough with a friend (who bailed and now the char has sat unused for a bit)

Don't know the first thing about video recording so here's me doing the moor, leveling up, going to den, and killing corpsefire all in hell on a naked character (please note the bolts are only equipped so I don't accidentally pick up something useful)
