I could bet the guy used steel as catalyst to split water. Not sure if it's cost-efficient way.

Everything revolves around money. Money makes the decisions. Could it be that money is the illuminati?

is this PaRD topic now? :D

You could split water with 100% efficiency and it wouldn't solve the major problems with hydrogen as an energy source.

First being that to split water you need to put energy in, so it isn't a "source" at all, just a storage method.

The second being that the biggest problems with hydrogen as a source are the weight of the container and energy required to compress the gas so you can get a reasonable mileage out of that container.

Both are active areas of research, with solutions to the latter probably allowing solutions to the former.

I wasnt referring to the reaction itself but the financial stuff around an application.

At least for that car I thought the energy source was indeed water. When you split water, energy from breaking the bond between O-H is the source. So the exhaust gases would be oxygen and hydrogen. I couldve gotten it wrong tho ^_^
It's totally different if fuel is hydrogen.

You've got it backwards ^_^

It consumes energy to break water.

Water is everywhere because it's so stable, and things that are stable take a lot of energy to break down.

However they release a lot of energy when they are formed.

haha y it was said right at start lol. Breaks water and uses hydrogen.
Not sure about rest but I wouldnt feel exactly safe around a container with compressed hydrogen. Especially at 100km/h.

It's pretty safe. Since hydrogen rises so quickly it's much safer to have a hydrogen fire than a gas fire. Gas gets all over stuff and catches it on fire, but hydrogen you just have a single small jet of flame going up.

Except for the part where it's bullshit, but yes let's pretend that it actually works and blame the Illuminati.

pathetic terran technologies. My protoss brethren laugh.

when Kerrigan was asked about this video, she laughed too. She said her bio-tek is 99% efficient, wtf

Energy gained comes from energy spent.

All things are equal, you cannot create energy.
