I'm curious if they're going to go expansion, or entirely new game for this. Either way, they gave us more than I wanted with this game and they set it up for loads more to come.

I finally did find that last Dragon Tear btw. Max lvl is officially 9 4/10 or 1/2, hard to tell exactly, but it looks like just barely under the halfway mark.

Lvl 8 Chest (3os)
Lvl 8 Gloves (3os)
Lvl 8 Belt (3os)
Lvl 8 Talisman (3os)
All with lvl 7 enchantments in each socket
Lvl 6/5 Weapons
Lvl 8 Axe+Blade Pommels

That last dragon tear was pissing me off, and I feel soooooo fucking stupid now for not realizing sooner where it was. Only 2 talismans have sockets in the game (that I've found anyways), but the other one only has two at max.

I really just fucking want an expansion or another game already. I know that's terrible, but as awesome as this was, it wasn't long enough. No single player games ever are though.


e: My only beef other than length, was the way they did the enchantments. Maybe it was on purpose and they were trying to punish greedy players, but it just seemed odd at the end how all the best enchantments in the game are lvl 6 and they're FAR superior in both perks and stats compared to the lvl 7 perfect ones you find in legendary chests or other random places. Anyways, I'm done posting for awhile on this since I'm going to be done playing, but if anyone gets stuck on anything, or has a question, feel free to pm me or post, I'll still check in on new posters.

I just picked up God of War today...

it's pretty interesting... I like how they revamped the combat... feels kinda like Dark souls

It's got some similarities for sure.

Put about an hour and a half into God of War mode today. I gotta admit guys, I'm a bit disappointed after how much it was talked up by everyone. It could be that my mechanics are just already super solid from going through the game on normal/hard diff, but so far I haven't ran into too much of a challenge. I'm definitely dying a lot more than I did before, that's for damn sure, but I usually just have to take a moment to assess and figure out the best tactical way to go about the fight and it's game over. Only died once on the stranger fight and didn't get killed by the troll. Large groups of Drauger have been giving me the most trouble, especially now that it's throwing lvl 3s-4s at me while I'm still lvl 1 and I can't stun those fuckers to save my life. It's A LOT of fun still and Im excited to get through it on GoW diff, I just don't think it's going to trip me up too much.

That being said, I'm not sure I plan on beating sigrun on this diff, but I'll probably try eventually when my gear is all lvld up.

How far did you all make it in Gow difficulty?

It's a bitch for sure, but I'm about half-way through the main story and I'm starting to work through some of the side-quests. The side shit is WAY harder than the normal shit. Still the hardest thing to fight is just massive numbers of enemies, wolves especially are a fucking nightmare. On Fafnir's storeroom there was one room with like 10 wolves and 4 of them could kill me in one hit and the others all in 6. That was stupidly hard.

Not that far... its tough when you do first playthrough on GoW diff because youre still getting used to the combat and enemies

Oh for sure. Like I've said before, even on normal I died a fair amount, but since I went through the game once already and got pretty damn good at it, I've been blowing through GoW mode. I would have been way too frustrated as well if I had started here. Only reason I'm able to do the battles as well as I am, is because of all the practice I had doing all the extra shit on my other save file on hard mode (I switched to hard about 2/3 of the way through because it got too easy), which were super hard, especially the valks+meph trials on hard mode. Finished GoW mode up today, going to start working on some of the optional stuff and my goal is to kill all the valks and sigrun.
