Just ran into my first optional encounter that I had to walk away from. Tried about 10 times never once getting the fucker to half health. Was sick getting there, but I'll have to come back to finish when I'm a bit stronger.

Could beat it eventually, but I don't wanna sit here trying for 3 hours on my only day/night to game this week lol.

Felt good having a day to grind. Hit lvl 8, completed a fuck ton of the side missions, including almost 100% of everything in two of the optional realms. I don't know how long the main story is, but I haven't even see Thor or Odin, and I assume they're in this at some point, so I got a bit to go I hope. Absolutely loving this game, but I think I'm at the point where everything is going to be easy mode now. Once I finish doing everything, finding every piece of epic gear, every side quest etc... I'll probably try again on GoW difficulty.

Btw, anyone know the level cap? I'm thinking maybe it'd be possible to hit 9, but 8 seems pretty fucking high... I'm sure expansions will come out and change it, but anyone get past 8 or 9 yet?

Game ended a lot sooner than I wanted . Guess I'll finish up upgrading my gear and then start up on GoW mode tomorrow or the next day. Was hoping it'd last a bit longer. They set it up hard for the xpacs though.

Anyone have any luck killing Sigrun?

Mad props to anyone who beats this bitch on GoW difficulty. Took me a bit to get all of her attacks down, and even then, it's still hard to execute them all perfectly and a single fuck-up is pretty much instant death. All the other Valks are easy as fuck in comparison to this maniac. Had to run out to school, so I didn't even get to see what kind of rewards I got for beating the fight, but I'm hoping it's worth it. Going to be patiently waiting for the expansions now, was kinda bummed out because I thought there was a bunch of content left with a few realms still for me to go to, gods to fight etc... but nope, now just basic exploration, finding all the ravens and finishing the upgrades on my gear to hit max lvl, which I'm still guessing is 9. I'm thinking I'll be able to hit that once finished maxing, but not 100% sure.

e; For anyone who hasn't discovered this, go back to your house once you've completed the game. You get a little extra ending and then credits roll . It's pretty fucking sweet and DEF worth it doing it.


I'm almost done with 100%, just gotta track down the last of the ravens and a few more artifacts.

Still playing on gow difficulty... makes me want to cry but is satisfying when you advance

Have you fought any valks yet? I'm guessing it'd take me hours to beat sig on GoW, even with the best gear possible. Them bitches are insanely powerful.
