Obediance thresher on switch for level 21 enchant (massive attack rating % bonus)
Blade fury doesn't give any bonus to attack rating, even claw mastery % bonus to attack rating is bugged and doesnt work even work using a claw.
This is the most fun i've had playing diablo 2, ive played assassin for the last 3 years on ladder, didnt realise how good blade fury assassin was until this month.
My skills are:
20 venom (free dmg)
20 blade fury
20 blade shield (ethreal indestructible weapon)
1 point death sentry (corpse explode is actually OP)
rest into shadow warrior / fade (you want level 17 shadow warrior atleast)
shadow warrior is tank + lays death sentry for you (shadow master sucks I HATE mind blast)

VERY IMPORTANT MERC.


this allows you to break phys immunes in hell(decrepify curse), Might aura adds massive dmg, treachery armor keeps merc alive, i like vamp gaze helm for damage reduction too

Please comment, let me know what you think. (Please look up blade fury analysis on google first to see how blade fury works.)

Started ladder as a trap assassin, quickly changed to smiter gear around level 85 and went hybrid(lightning/dragon talon), farm keys/ kill ubers. then i made another asssasin. This is my 2nd assassin.

The Blood recipe helmet (ral pruby jewel+helm) is hard to roll, 1/1057 chance to get 2 sockets and ar% per level, i have 40%ed jewels in helm and shield

You know 2handed wep dmg is GREATLY reduced when using fury right?

Mine used eth death ettin axe...

ya the polearm i use just for first 1-3 kills for the lvl 21 enchant (then weapon switch)
deadly strike is double max dmg so im using eth death zerker axe + the 4x 40%ed jewel'd monarch
the character screen only shows 1/2 the damage and im not using venom
i put it on normal attack to show base attack rating (is the same for blade fury)

Not bad, had to say that Guilli and example Lance Guard are also viable for this build.

yeah ettin axe is preferable to zerker but the resale value or ability to find existing ones is worse of course
your gear is mostly spot on, especially using 160% shield not phoenix because firestorm, but your skills are messed up, you should think about respeccing the skills- 20 points blade shield is worthless but 20 points blade sentinel is godly with that setup

blade fury and sentinel add their +damage to the weapon damage before %ed without the weapon class % penalty, so the +damage on them is huge, as you've noted for blade fury. Your setup is about 2/5 blade fury skill damage, 3/5 weapon damage, it would be closer to 50:50 with the other skillers/anni. But blade shield on the other hand does not work that way, instead it adds the +skill damage after %ed, and then it applies its own 3/4 penalty to its own skill damage. So your level 31 blade shield that displays 266-295 actually just adds +70 physical damage on top of the 25% of your weapon damage. With 1 point it in, its +19 damage. Not base damage, overall +51 damage from 19 extra skill points. All you really get from the max blade shield is the extra duration, but you're also increasing the mana cost

if you put 20 points blade sentinel you'll get a pretty darn good damage on it. 136 skill damage + 121 weapon base, so 257 damage multiplied by whatever %ed you have total, and 37.5% of your venom damage. You have about 433 blade fury base damage, so your blade sentinel should wind up about 60% of your blade fury damage.. Running your numbers fast, I think you hit about 7800 physical blade fury and would hit 4700 sentinel, thats ignoring venom on both.

Also blade sentinel gets bonus attack rating, it would have monlvl 91 bonus of +3636 base AR in hell before %AR is applied which is gigantic (and +155 more from the +5/skill bonus), it benefits from claw mastery on claws (but that still wouldn't be worth it, death is better even in that setup for sentinel alone), and if your shadow casts it, it uses your weapon too so that works out fine. With that setup when chanted and using visionary, uh, it should have 27.7k AR

merc ideal for me I think it's infinity, for ar and traps dmg. this way I could put atma's on and break thoses PI.
again I cant tell cause I'm not sure what your build is designed for.

from what i've red others blades and venom are a waste of skillpts.
I would also use guillaume over a crafted helm, LoH instead of steelrend, SoE instead of Tgod, raven/bk instead of angelics.
