What? 20-30k AR? Explain this to me please ^^ In pvp, fine, i have no clue, but in pvm, i know how it works.

This is my main setup for a bowzon if i hit it during a HCL season:

Faith GMB
LoH
Fortitude
Kira's Um'd (for maxing resistances, HC is a bitch, 1100 life goes fast)
Razortail
War Travelers
Atma's Scarab
Raven frost
Wisp Projector (for Heart of Wolverine +AR% and Dmg%)

Merc:
Pride
Treachery/Fortitude
Andy/Gaze


With this setup, and even with Enchant from Demon Limb, i rarely hit more than 10-12 000 AR. How in the hell do you reach 20-30 000? And i usually stack 10Max/60+AR Grand Charms, and all the 3/20 Sc's i can get my hands on.

If you seriously mean that you use Guided Arrow for normal monsters instead of Strafe or even Multishot .. then i don't know what to think ^^ Strafe is the best skill if you have very high AR or ITD. Every arrow will Pierce and activate Amplify Damage from Atma's Scarab very often, effectively doubling output damage.

The reason i write Eaglehorn, is because i use that BEFORE i can afford Faith GMB! This is why i write it. I don't use it as a high-end permanent solution. But it works wonderfully in Hell mode until you can afford the high-end stuff, like most newbs can't. And based on me giving this advice, people go complete apeshit. I don't get it.

For Windforce, you will have trouble hitting monsters effectively. 70-80% will not make full use of Pierce.

I think I have my answer.

600 dexterity -> (600-7)*5 + 5 = 2970 base AR
+500 from ravens -> 3470 base AR
300% AR on faith, +115% from level 9 penetrate, +110% from level 15 fanaticism -> +525% AR
3470 * (1+5.25) = 21687 AR.
add in +740 ar on small charms and raise to level 28 penetrate with +305% and you'd have 34311 AR



Strafe can only proc CTC effects on arrows that hit. It can only hit the targets its shooting at, at 5 fpa, more likely 6 fpa if you're shooting at 2 fpa, due to next delay.
Multi can proc from its central 2 arrows, meaning its shooting 2 arrows at 7 fpa that can proc, effectively 3.5 fpa, which like strafe can both pierce and hit other targets.
And against most monsters, amplify damage will triple damage output, not double it.



Even windforce zons have no problem getting up 90%+ chance to hit against monsters in hell. Spending points on penetrate is overkill, and they can get by using 8 fpa act 2 might/pride merc for more damage instead of act 1 merc and not care about losing 110% AR.

I was thinking of sticking a Cham in Windforce, with Pride and Might merc. Would that be viable as opposed to Faith merc?

Yeah, that's right. Last 3 ladders my first bowzon has survived throughout the entire ladder season on HC, on budget gear (as i listed). And i -mostly- don't use top-end gear, because i don't like to trade with botters, so my market becomes very limited.
