Hello Miton, sure! Pokemon Trainer Accounts (PTC) are not related to google at all. It is an account type managed by pokemon company, much similar to how runescape accounts are managed. As you know, in runescape, it is completely normal to pay fg for services, which require sharing of runescape account login-credentials. So why can't we have this with PTC accounts?

The primary issue is that we cannot share Gmail account information. This is a good security measure and I agree with it wholeheartedly. But you must realize for pokemon go, there exist another login method, the PTC login. These 2 methods are completely separate from eachother.

this would be great to be able to trade. ptc is basically like runescape and diablo2 accounts

PTC seems like it's always down. It's impossible to log into someone's PTC account. I am trying to catch some regional pokemons for someone. This is my first time using a PTC account. Of course, Google account works flawlessly on Android.

no updates so far, i will ping miton again this this weekend.

@Imveryfood = yep ptc is pretty buggy, but i never had issues logging in for more than a few hours. I just constantly do app->clear data. eventually it works...
