the honest answer here is buy bigger better brake kits for the best finish
brush on isn't that bad but will leave brush marks you can see up close, spray looks better BUT prep is the key here, get EVERY bit of oil and grime off them for the best finish.. i mean clean the living fuck out of them then use a prep spray to remove oils.
/e painting something wont void the warranty if you are sure to remove/cover all parts besides the calipers. when i do it i remove everything including the pads, then drop a cloth over the hub and set the caliper back in place. then cover/mask everything else in the whole fender area.
