Labour well on it's way to being an almost credible party again. The corbynista meltdown on twitter is fantastic.

Johnson has achieved everything he wanted for now, but hasn't that involved a large amount of kicking the can down the road (an English saying :D) ?

What happens at the end of the year when no FTA has been agreed with the EU or anyone else? The EU are open to extending the transition period due to there being no chance of getting a good deal in time, but even the Coronavirus hasn't made our government open to an extension.

I just think the government are overplaying their hand and their heavy-handedness will result in chaos. On top of that, the government's handling of the Coronavirus pandemic has been verging on national scandal. There will certainly be an independent enquiry into it after it's done and if the government are heavily criticised it could lead to a motion of no confidence and force a general election.

Simply put, there's a decent chance that there will be a general election before 2024.

Need to get some cash on it at the bookies lad. Would take something terrific to make tories throw a fat majority into the ring.

Bojo in intensive care where the death rate is slightly over 50% in the UK. Not good. Also has been infected for 2+ weeks and worsened now which indicates a very severe reaction based on the limited data we have so far.

Maybe because he's PM they took the precaution to ventilate him at a lower threshold rather the regular intensive care patient. Hope that was the case.

Raab deputising as PM in the interim. Can this fucking shit get any worse?

Intensive does not mean artificial ventilation, do you have the details ? Maybe he's under watch because they gave him a big dose of Chloroquine ?

He's conscious and doesn't require ventilation right now, but he might do soon so they took him there as a precaution.

Regardless of what anyone says, there is a decent chance he'll die, at least 20%.

He looks like he had a really rough night out in the pub, and this vid is shot the morning after.

Anyway, I would assume that the hospital is acting more cautiously and preemptively in his case, compared to how they would treat a common pleb.
Still scary how quick things went downhill for him. And he's not that old yet, and always seemed to be in decent health, with high energy level and such.

He did not react very early regarding the virus but at least it was not the shit show they had in US.
He needed oxygen over night and we don't know how he is right now.

Interesting fact: some UK hospital precisely closed its door the other day because... They no longer had oxygen.

Boris Johnson's condition improving from coronavirus. Uk has now someone perfectly motivated to fight this pandemic.

What they're using as evidence of Boris' condition improving is that he's sitting up now. Hardly the most empirical metric.

938 dead in the UK today, the government need to start testing and monitoring people with covid symptoms at home and get them into hospital before they're on their death beds, which is what's currently happening. That's the main reason why our death rate is so high.
