1. Azure -> +magick dmg, if you will find Non-Undead Phys Immune Mob, and not breaken by Reaper, it will add great dmg to Berserk.
2. Azure -> -50% DR vz undeads.. so 1 hit by Main Grief == 2x Dmg.
3. Azure -> Break immunity vz undeads.
4. Azure -> Vz Lags.
5. Azure -> Slot for Rune/Jewel.

And in the end, your barb with 2x weapon will have 15%DR by dungo? Seems this making him total immortaly.

Only against undead monsters with 50%+ DR that aren't decrepped from your mercenary
Adds nothing vs non-undead or undead who are decrepped since it caps at 0% DR
Storm casters are 50% dr, but doom knights/OK's are 33% dr, so its effectively 1.5x damage against them, again nothing with decrep. Course, that opens up a pride merc, but then you're gimped against non-undead, especially phys immunes, or 0% dr undead, or bosses



Only a single monster class in the entire game, Wraiths. Then its only stone skin other mobs like willowisp
I mean its good vs ghosts, but that's not much of a selling point given how easily zerked they are and how uncommon they are, and stone skin undead will only ever be a single monster at a time

Keep in mind, theres only 13 undead monster classes compared to 23 demons, and instead of act bosses it works against uh.. griswold and raddy?

Barb not best class for pvm.
In case of topic about 2weapons WW, azure atleast will give some dmg and many "defensive". (vz knights/dolls/nihla-type/souls - one of the hardest mobs, except my lovely frezy Lords/bugged snakes.)
In case of WW, then better use Shild+grief, than 2x grief. I am HC player, i dont see way how to play by any char, who can easy die vz nice uniqs.
In case of dmg, maybe 2x grief > azure+grief, but again.. I'll choise azure with less dmg, than dead char with 2-3x more dmg.
In case of softcore, i see many topics about HghtKillSpeed, etc.. But! If you die = lose kill speed. If you die = lose gold. If you die = lose exp.
As i remember when i played at soft, i dont liked die by mobs. Soft it is good when you wanna safe ur nerves, and for starting of d2. But when you sure in ur powers - prefere play at HC.

And dont forget, that d2 have balance system at pvm.. For sure 1/1000 uniqs - can be ur death with only DMG setup. Many locations have specyfic immune mobs, and some locations - not for all.
(for example: hammer will have troubles with mag. immunes in act3: Wailing Beast)
I dont like skip anythink, and i always try make builds for all.. and fact of possibility to do that build make me happy.
If you dont have this target in game - np, just skip talking about it. (but mostly ppl here very like try to showing how great they are with one click JAVA.. bara pickers detected)
