It does the job, and it does the job well. There's really nothing much else to say. It is not the best bow, but saying that it sucks, IS bullshit from one end to the other. That just proves to me that people have not tried it properly.

Worse than faith wf wrath brand botd ice hoj goldstrike arch and call to arms

I would need to do math but I'm guessing bloodraven fortitude and passion bows also beat this

actually, with 100ias, lvl12 fana is enough
lvl13fana is needed for a 10wsm bow (hydra, gmb) with 95ias
lvl14 fana is needed for a 0wsm bow (diamond, shadow) with 65ias

If you are using grand matron bow, strength requirement is 108, so you can use armors up to that str req anyway. For myself, i always use Demon limb on swtich, to Enchant my merc, so he hits more often and deals a little bit more damage. That requires 133 strength, but it's all up to you. I don't really care if i have 100 life more or less.

When playing bowzon, at least for myself, i do care a bit about aestethics

My favorites are Splint Mail/ Russet Armor/ Balrog Skin, and Light Plate/ Mage Plate/ Archon Plate. You decide for yourself how you would like to balance it strength- and lookwise.

The helmet you mention is going to increase your damage, but your resists will be crippled. Which means one cold enchanted pack boss will kill you. You will be very vulnerable, a true glass cannon. Even though you are a bowzon, i do not like being so vulnerable, at least tank a few hits. You must decide for yourself, test it out.

I forgot to mention too.

If you are using CTA, if you want the +2 skills from Spirit Monarch, you need 156 strength to equip it. Which allows you to use armors up to that point.

This is the setup I always used. WF allows you to use LOH and still have that very-important KB. Plus massive dmg and that amp from Atma's.
