Venezuela is a faked communism, or a even a faked Social-Democracy wrongly made, too fast, by probably uncompetent people.
Btw Chavez was a thief that put billions in his pockets... Maybe he started some good things (probably education, maybe healthcare, i dont know) on the other hand this thief also had some bad luck since his country fall due oil dependancy.

Social democracy is something that need to be applied slowly, progressively, by very competent people.

Theres a strong difference today with 70 or 80 years ago; computers. Meaning complex economic plans & predictions are maybe more possible.

Chavez was still a thief, and Maduro is just horrible.
Opposition will not help, Usa will not help.

I hope next gouvernement will defend its citizen instead of selling ressources for cheap to exxon-like companies, so It's more à corruption problem than anything else
