well, no one suggested to advertise any details of measures. but a public statement from the president that he takes these attacks seriously and a condemnation would be appropriate and far from "starting world war III", don't you think? but not only doesn't he do that, he actively defies congress and deliberately misses deadlines in order to SPARE russia from sanctions for their election meddling, sanctions that an overwhelming majority of BOTH parties voted for. so while there might be people working on trying to secure your elections, it's highly improbable that's happening on trump's initiative.
