Oh crap... Hobbes actually does exist! I was totally wrong. I thought I deleted the files but my sister still had them on the computer. Looks like I can start back up on here again soon

I don't understand how it's possible though lol... I fully uninstalled diablo 2 from the laptop. I was able to get it back so I re-installed d2 on it, and Hobbes was still there? I'm not sure how he survived a full uninstall and reinstall, but I guess this proves he can survive anything.

One weird thing is that now that I have reinstalled, SP is in patch 1.14B ... When I try to download the 1.14D patch it says that it cannot install because the patch data is corrupt. I'm not running any mods and I don't have any extra folders created or anything like that. So I don't know. But from what I read in the patch notes, there were not any major changes between 1.14b to 1.14d... and Hobbes still loads in 1.14b so that works I guess

Depending on her OS, some save it in like users/saved games so the .d2s files are completely seperate from the D2 folder.

Great to hear Hobbes is still alive! I too have been reading this wt the past weeks from time to time and really enjoyed it. Although it has been completed it would be very interesting to hear updates on the remaining goals for Hobbes' gear and level. ^_^
