Afaik climate change is like the 20th priority as far as issues go, and America isnt a big emitter anymore.

Americas emissions haven't significantly decreased like ever. We are just as much of an emitter as we've ever been.

See above. I trust the EPA more than statista, since I can't see the source cited on statista.


Also, thats only from energy consumption. Not total. There are more categories than energy consumption.

My main point though.

What are the damaging effects that we should worry about?

IMO the tragedy of commons is the only one that needs our serious attention.
