The more obvious problem is that the accused got away on a completely bogus defense. What apparently is lost in the conversation is that he didn't get acquitted because the jurors thought he could shoot to kill to protect his property, but that he didn't mean to shoot at all (there was a hangfire AND the gun slide malfunctioned)... two highly improbable events.



yeah I'm sure if it were a case were a native had raped a blonde, that all whites would get disqualified because some of them wanted to get a piece of the accused.

Lot of assumptions there. I don’t really have an opinion and think it’s fair to assume the courts got it right here. But it’s a case of 1) racial minority, 2) white guy feeling threatened and using deadly force, 3) public backlash. That’s Murica af.

Those aren't assumptions... they were drunk, and they did try and steal one of his vehicles by breaking into it with a rifle...

well i actually enjoy my life, so i don't wanna give it up by killing some ppl over a phone.
Gl going to court to defend urself claiming self defense, when u just killed a bunch of ppl by shooting them from behind after they robbed you.
If you're fine becoming a murderer just to get even & feel that they dont deserve to live over petty theft then good for you lol I personally can't live with that experience, especially over a fuckin phone haha
