Its not really "high" dpi because what matters is what your dpi comes to after the sensitivity is calculated in, but, most people freak out irregardless, it just means that I can use windows 10/webpage browsing by just using my wrist.
alot of mices for desktop browsing, 800 dpi is more than fine
I have 2 buttons on my mouse, 400 dpi for csgo, 800 for browsing
I changed the button for backspace in browsing and forward for dpi buttons instead
and overall 400 or 800 dpi doesnt really matter on csgo if u fix your sensitivity its almost the same thing but overall 400 dpi for low res is alot better than 800 or 1800 because it has better pixels accuracy
example
400 dpi, 2 sens
400 dpi, 2.01 sens
400 dpi. 2.02 sens
800 dpi, 1 sens
800 dpi, 1.005 sens800 dpi, 1.01 sens
nobody really use 3 digits sens
400 dpi is more accurate to find perfect sens
but if u play on 1920x1080, high dpi dont matter as much
on 1024x768, you can feel the high dpi and low sens feel weirder than low dpi
idk hard to explain but you get it.....
e/ my point is when some1 try sens they will go by by .1's
ex: 2.01, 2.02, 2.06, 2.20, 2.22, 2.50, 2.66, 2.78
if u go on 800 dpi and try things like
1.1, 1.2, 1.22, 1.23
your missing alot of pixels on sens that could be alot more accurate on 400 dpi when trying to find the perfect sens
like I said, nobody put 3 digits
sometimes on 800 dpi ull find that 1.22 is too slow and 1.23 is too fast
and if u type 1.225 it doesnt change anything at all
if u go on 400 dpi, 2.44, 2.45, 2.46 (ur sens ur looking for is 2.45) its much easier
and if u go even higher than 800 dpi, ur missing alot more pixels
