I think its notable that once again, Omarosa released a tape that casts doubt on her premise. First she put out a tape of John Kelly politely firing her and saying it was him 'threatening' her, and now she puts out a tape of Pierson saying she talked to Trump and he denied any tape of an N-Word existed. And Pierson might doubt Trump's response, but she's never heard it, and its sounding like neither has Omarosa. So we've got a tape that casts doubt on the existence of another tape.

2018 is a tossup because Dems are energized but that doesn't ensure them a long term victory either. Trump's base hasn't gone anywhere.

I don't see it that way. You have Omarosa and Pierson recorded at the time saying Trump's denial is bullshit.... clearly they took the allegation seriously enough to discuss options if it did come out. It's pretty hilarious two African-American women on his campaign thought it was likely he was recorded saying nigger.

It sure sounds like Omarosa was the only source for claiming the tape exists, and Pierson was responding to Omarosa's own insistence that a tape exists and discussing options if it did.
That's not corroboration, that's just derivative.
