I may have my corpse mailed to a game after I hang myself rather than go to Milwaukee but I'll still be a fan. :(

Nou

I ain't no geography fan, I like my team. I'm gonna keep being a fan if they move to London or the Moon, tbh.

It would mean rooting for a team that thinks so little of where you live that they're high-tailing it the hell out of there. I couldn't do it. They would no longer represent where I live, and I couldn't attend their games. No thanks.

Eh, I guess I could see that to a degree. I guess it helps that LA never felt too much like home to me in the first place, so it wasn't too much of a sting when they went off to St. Louis anyway. Plus, even if it did feel like home, both of the LA teams left at once, so there had to be a choice made either way if you wanted to retain a team and keep it local.

I dunno, especially if the alternative is not having a team at all or having to jump onto whatever the next nearest bandwagon is, I think that you gotta follow your team. I can respect where you're coming from, but I just couldn't do it, myself. My team's my team, ride or die.

Yeah, I wonder what the alternative is supposed to be for you. Should you just jump over to becoming a Trailblazers fan, because geography is the most important part of fandom?

A team is represents the city. If a team leaves the city, they are basically giving the finger to that city. That's why if/when the Chargers leave, they are fucking dead to me. I might even boycott the NFL all together since they are the ones pushing so hard for an LA team.

Let's be real here, I wouldn't blame the Raiders if they gave the finger to Oakland.

It's definitely a matter of circumstance, I have to say. Sometimes it can be a major finger. I can definitely understand Cleveland fans who want the Ravens to catch on fire, for sure.

It's the exact same thing with the Chargers. Except they'll probably keep the name and San Diego will never have a football team again.

I hope they stay for your sake personally but man all signs point towards them taking off.

I think I'd still follow the Lakers if they moved somewhere, except in the unlikely scenario that a team moved to a rival market, for example if they moved to New York, the Bay Area, etc.

Can't help but think my enthusiasm would be much lower though.
