I read a story that said that suddenly the odds are shifting back the other day? Have the Rams found yet another way to disappoint me? :(

Seeing both wild cards go to the NFC West while the 49ers stay at home would pretty much be my dream. I know I may as well keep dreaming, but still.

Fuck stan. Make us watch 10 years of pathetic football then move em when they're finally turning it around.

Oh well, we'll take the chargers I guess.

My favorite part is the implication that anyone in St. Louis has watched any Rams games at all.

The Rams got stolen from LA for no reason other than Georgia smelled money and four years later St. Louis got to watch the Greatest Show on Turf, and y'all couldn't even carry water and keep the stadium full after getting that gift? One of the most dynamic and amazing teams in the world was dropped in your laps and then when they stop being champions, you turn your backs? And now the fans have the balls to complain about the team leaving? I can't even begin to fathom the mind of a St. Louis-based fan who's complaining right now. I can't.

I was a Rams fan when we were all right in the 80s, I was a Rams fan when the Greatest Show on Turf beat the Bengals in Week 4 of the 1999 season to barely avoid having the worst record of the 1990s, I was a Rams fan in LA, I've been a Rams fan in St. Louis, I'll be a Rams fan in LA, and I'll stick by my team no matter what. But I sure as hell would like them to be close enough that I can put an ass into one of those empty seats, because watching that shit for half of the season has been getting on my nerves, and it'd be nice to have my team back.

I will agree with one part of that: I'm eagerly anticipating the 49ers' return to the basement of the NFC West.

I have found my hatred of the Pats has finally overtaken my hate for the 49ers, but I can at least spare enough spite for old time's sake to kick them when they're down a little. Except now I do it with a smile.

True fan right there.

For me it sucks because the Rams are too little too late, since they weren't in LA when I got into football so I can't give up on my Bucs (who, by the way, have managed to be even shittier than your Rams during this time period) if/when they move to LA. Which is a God damn shame because that's a Hell of a division, I like the team and its history and they'll likely succeed more/sooner than the Bucs.

Oh well. Sucks for true St. Louis sports fans though :/.
