I've been on an every 2 year upgrade cycle. Samsung's trade in policy makes it a little easier to justify also, I usually get 3-400 for the 2 years ago model towards the newest galaxy. Although the s8+ might be the first one I wait on though, depending on what features the 10 has that would be significant upgrades.

Most people don't do enough with their phones to need cutting edge parts in them. But I guess if I was somebody who bought a model shortly after release I'd want all the newest parts.

True.

I guess I just recall the context of when I bought my phone: the Pixel being about 6 months behind the newly-released Galaxy S-whatever didn't really matter to me at the time.

And 2 years behind sounds like an overstatement by emerican, but I don't follow phone technology closely enough to know or care.

This fucking Network Security class is killing me. On average I've had to memorize about 90 terms per week to be ready for my tests and this week's test is right around 130 terms. What I wouldn't give for a photographic memory.

Tricks like that don't really work for me. I'm good at memorizing stuff, it just sucks when all the terms are super similar and then blend together. I make a quizlet weekly and just by throwing that together I usually memorize about 70% of the terms and then I have to go through 2-3 more times to memorize everything. There are always a handful of terms that won't stick.
