Good job Oilers! Your team did a great job and pushed some of the best games I've ever seen to the worst games I've ever seen in this match up. I'm glad my Ducks won, but great games none the less! See you all next season

I'm still in a bit of pain over those goalie interference calls... not going to get over that for awhile.

Sad isn't it. Oilers shoulda have/could have won the series in 5-6 games.

those calls were too close to be upset over,
if they were called goalie interference and no goal, that call would of also stood.

its playoff hockey, different animal,

or else backstrom would of been given games for his play, same with draisaitl for the spear (i think it was him right?)

a few other mentionable calls i think didn't result in suspensions throughout these playoffs because of it being "playoffs"

thats what some analyst's have been saying anyways, and i agree with that opinion.

either way as one of my buddies posted.

29th to 5th in a year.
nothing to be upset over, great year for the oilers, and they lost fair and square end of story.

lets just hope they can continue this level of hockey next year.

When there are former goalies commenting on how ridiculous it was not called interference and many articles made about rules that need to be changed so it's clear cut interference and no "gray areas"
It's more than fair enough to be upset.

But ya. Great year nonetheless.
