nah it looks like money isnt the issue, he just doesnt wanna be in calgary, they could offer him 12m x 8 and he would still be afk

I think it’s more the Flames knowing they can’t sign both tkachuk and JG , if gaudreau ‘chooses’ big money else where over calgary it’s not the organization’s fault

last i heard is they made an offer x8 yrs and waiting on his answer. I think he's testing FA

and yeah, tkachuk had rumors last year he didnt wanna be in calgary, and it'll most likely not want him to sign term if gaudreau leaves and also doesn't know if mangiapane is gonna be around or not. He can just sign a 1yr deal to take him to UFA.

Pretty torn on it myself, can't say I think too highly of him currently but it'll be a breath of fresh air instead of Koski/Smith.

I really wanted Georgiev tbh, have a hunch he's gonna have a huge breakout season and we'll see a bunch of chatter about how he was elite all along.

Honestly, Campbell still has a lot to prove. He just had his breakout season, first time playing 40 games, now he will have to follow it up.
