Ya zucker deal for Frolik and a 1st got killed by the league. Kadri for Brodie and Jankowski got killed by Kadri.

The Zucker deal fell though at last years deadline correct? It was the teams not being able to hammer out the details in time as far as I heard.
I can’t see him being involved in anything Calgary related now since there’s like 3 guys on your roster who make more than him and they aren’t going anywhere. Calgary needs to ditch 3-4mil to get the 3 rfas signed?

No this deadline. The trade call was made before the deadline and then it was on hold for too long (?) or it got disconnected or something, and Treliving was furious. I think the cats out of the bag that they’re shopping Zucker now so they want more.

is rittich your starter for next season?
i know talbot got let go in philly because he said he wanted an opportunity to play more and fletcher was like LOL NO
and media keep making a big deal like talbot trying to get career back in order and lead flames sorta deal


i feel like if the flames are going with talbot as a #1 they are going to get fucking shredded smith was a better option imo
unless talbot pulls a total 180 but at 32 and how bad he looked i doubt it

Rittich is the 1A, Talbot is the 1B. Everything from the org makes it appear they want to give Rittich a real shot to be the #1.

I like the chances of Talbot having a bounce back year with a good defensive core infront of him. That being said, I wont deny that he looked BAAAAAAAAAAAAD at times last year. But so did Smith, people just remember the 3 exceptional games in the playoffs.

yeah he looked REAL BAD i was so happy we kept elliot as the backup to hart even if him and talbot are good friends and they think he could mentor him
thats good that rittich is likely your starter cuz idk man from what i saw from talbot good defense isnt going to help him you need insane defense that lets him get like 5 shots a game and 2-3 prob still go in
if he does turn it around props to your gm on the call but seems like a really ballsy move you guys are all in on rittich hopefully hes the guy

Yeah we'll see. Goalies can be weird, especially with confidence, so I'm hopeful it works out. Talbot should be extra motivated or this might be his last NHL deal
