Price for Stone is believed to be one of Valimaki/Kylington/Andersson + multiple firsts + more. Calgary is apparently the front runner but they want assurances they can get him resigned if that's the price they are going to pay.

How are you guys liking Czarnik?
I liked him a lot in Boston, never got a fair chance imo, he was good with the puck.

You’d have to somehow rid yourself off Neal to have a realistic way to sign both stone and MT?

Not bad. Hasn’t played a ton, but he’s got the game winner on 3 of the last 5 games or something crazy, so heating up I hope.

Would have been really tough. Something like ~19 Mil to sign Stone, Bennet, Chucky, Rittich and/or Smith. Would likely have been do-able but still really tight.


E: really glad we didnt make a big splash for a rental, we dont need to do it this year.

Little bit disappointed we didn't try and get some cheaper depth on offense, but really glad we didn't make that massive splash
I did want stone but would rather sign our own guys and then make a big trade next year if necessary
