I'm okay with it overall, glad they didnt take Kulak or Wotherspoon. Was praying for them to take Troy "PP Killer" Brouwer but it's not the end of the world they didnt. Lets pray he has a better season.

E: Why did they keep saying he was a Vegas native? Was weird they kept mentioning it then the big graphic said "Birthplace: Edmonton, AB". :wacko:

Lives there in the off season. Used to play there and was coached by Gulutzan our current coach too. I guess Vegas hockey had 18+ nights with strippers, lel.

Like I said in the other thread, Flames didn't want to re-sign him, Engelland wanted to play in Vegas and was a ufa. Bonehead waste of a pick, ty Vegas.

Solid af. Lost Engellend, which I prefer, and Stone never impressed me (and he'll get Hamonic/Russell money this summer).

Kulak-Anderson? Probably won't play two rookies together though.

They are banking on guys like Bennet and Brouwer actually producing significant offence this year. The d corp is solid af now, I'm so stoked for this season.

Flames Oilers rivalry gonna be back big time :thumbsup:

Bennett could really be the x-factor if he breaks out. Would create some nice scoring depth for you.

I wouldn't put much faith in Brouwer, it was a dumb contract from day 1. One of the few mistakes Tree has made so far in Calgary.
