doesnt matter though, keith doesn't seem like he wants to retire, it's just holland hoping he would consider it

you get cap credit if you buy out a player under the age of 26 or something like that iirc
phil myers is in the same boat you buy him out and get like 660k credit but next season you get dinged for that 660k cap hit

like luongo's contract was 100% legal at the time, league approved it, had np. However, when other teams copied and did it even more deliberately, they decide to punish the Canucks while changing/altering rules for those said teams etc.

yeah it was fairly known trotz seemed to be their #1 guy with torts as the #2 if trotz didnt work out
sucks he didnt want to come here but i think torts can be good he makes players have accountability we havnt really had that since berube and he lost the team and had to go
trotz sorta has that but hes more of a coach who brings defensive structure which the team also needed
