recapture penalty is just for contracts that used the loophole of extra years at end to lower cap hit

As would I. Keith only getting paid 1.5mill next season.
Smith gets 2.2mill if he retires or not.

I hope they both go to be honest

Can I get clarification on the Smith contract? I assumed he would still etc paid cause he signed contract at 39 etc. But I'm hearing if the aav is same as what he actually gets paid then it WONT be against cap if he retires this season?

sob i wanted trotz but i think torts can be good he seems like the kind of coach that makes players kick it into gear or gtfo lol

There's a brewery here (winnipeg) offering trotz free beer for life if he comes to coach! :rofl: maybe it's the deciding factor

yeah i saw a tweet saying the cheese steak places in philly had to step it up and offer free philly cheese steaks to trotz for life :D

I thought I'd seen most everything you could see in Pro Sports to this point but now hiring a consulting firm to hire your next coach over your HIRED GM might just take the cake! Strange days in
