there's no way that's true... someone is reading too far into it

Jack Eichel: “I’ve been a bit upset about the ways things have been handled since I’ve been hurt. There’s been a bit of a disconnect between myself and the organization. The most important thing now is to get healthy and be ready to play hockey next year, wherever that might be.”

I think he's considering it at least

Personally I am getting sick of the growing trend of star players whining and demanding trades. It's a bad look on the league and needs to be curtailed.

I know it is not there with Eichel yet but it looks like it could head further in that direction with him. He has gotten coaches and previous management fired.

Ownership bent over backwards for him to keep him happy and now it seems like he wants out because the Sabres are dumpster fire.

Maybe I am missing something but if someone gave me $80 million I would try to make it work.

Bad look on the league? That's just the reality these days. NHL is like the last league to have players do this consistently. Every other league has tons of this nowadays

Wow so Buffalo is losing their GM, Coach, best player damn

perfect for aquaman to try aquire him, save on all costs as he wanted

Jack Eichel essentially says the Sabres wouldn’t let him have surgery on his herniated disk in his neck. His body, his choice? “It doesn’t work like that. I wish. ... I’m under contract with this team and they definitely hold a lot of cards on what I can and can’t do.”

fked up imo

Kind of reminds me of Hodgson with the Canucks.

IIRC his dad in particular was very critical of the Canucks organization and medical staff in their handling of his condition. Think he ended up having a rare reaction to anti biotics that was the root cause of his

troubles and the Canucks failed to diagnose him. Just because someone gave you a bunch of money does not mean they should deny you the right to a second opinion.

Yeah, but he wouldn't say where ever it may be, if he isn't considering another team. Unless he meant whenever it may be.

Apparently he was playing with a fractured rib and an abdominal injury too. With Buffalo being such a circus show, no idea why they won't let the kid get surgery if he wants it.

Hall on Jack Eichel's presser today: "I know Jack (Eichel) is frustrated. I support him. He's gone through stuff with the medical staff. He has to do what's best for him."

Lol, he's pretty good at stirring the pot huehhe

Man, could you guys imagine if Buffalo got mcdavid? Sure he'd still be great, but I doubt any better than now.

Who chose him not to have surgery?

I remember that McDavid would have been out for season if he got surgery

Team tried same with Klefbom
