I still think hiring ex nhl players is weird. Sometimes you get lucky with a Yzerman, the rest of the time you get a guy who doesn’t know anything about the business side of it, but was a good player and who got hit in the head every day for the last 20 years.

If that's the case then I don't think you can go wrong with that swap.

Strange to see Brassard sign for a cheap one year deal.

Not long ago he was playing great for the Rangers in the playoffs.

His play has really gone downhill lately but there is no risk with a 1 year deal so I see it as a good move.
